✅ JEE Main – Eligibility Criteria
Must have passed Class 12 / Qualifying Exam in 2024, 2025, or appearing in 2026.
No upper age limit to appear for JEE Main.
Candidates can attempt JEE Main for 3 consecutive years (6 attempts across sessions)
For admission to engineering colleges (NIT/IIITs etc.), minimum 75% aggregate in Class 12 or be in top 20 percentile (65% for SC/ST)

✅ JEE Advanced – Eligibility Criteria
To appear in JEE Advanced, a candidate must satisfy all of these:
Qualify JEE Main (be among top ~2,50,000 candidates)
Educational qualification: Pass Class 12 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics.
Class 12 aggregate requirement: ≥ 75% for General/OBC, ≥ 65% for SC/ST (or be in top 20 percentile)
Number of attempts: At most two attempts in 2 consecutive years
Must NOT have been admitted to an IIT in a previous session (under certain conditions)
